"Where the gold is dug" est le 3e titre issu de la collaboration entre le guitariste et compositeur Jean-Pascal Boffo et le singer-songwriter Florent Simon. Dans la lignée des deux premiers titres du duo, "The Ether" et "Colour Blind", cette nouvelle chanson offre à l'auditeur un écrin d'intimité où bercer ses émotions, et se laisser porter.
Car après une ouverture folk à l'épure poignante et chaleureuse, l'arrangement progresse vers un choeur enveloppant et un piano qui soutiennent le violoncelle d'une invitée de grande classe, Klara Egloff, qui a déjà oeuvré sur le premier album de Florent ("The birds are back", sorti à l'automne 2020).

"Where the gold is dug"is the third song born out of the collaboration between French guitarist Jean-Pascal Boffo and singer-songwriter Florent Simon. Following the first two songs' soothing and intimate atmosphere, this new song provides the audience with a welcoming space in which to lay their emotions and let themselves be moved.
After the introduction performed in a delicately warm manner, the arrangement gets wider and wider until it reaches its most moving point with backing vocals sustaining a piano and the recognizable sound of Klara Egloff's cello (who already performed on Florent's first studio album,
"The birds are back", published in 2020).
